Careers at Scott Credit Union

At Scott Credit Union, we truly value our employees. While our buildings convey the Scott Credit Union name that our members know to trust, it’s the faces inside that make it much more than a place of business. These faces represent the promise that we will help each member make the most of their money, in the simplest manner possible- all while getting to know members personally by name and not by a number.

Credit unions were built upon a “people helping people” philosophy. Not only do our employees help their members and fellow teammates, they are dedicated to helping the local communities that support us. At Scott Credit Union, we encourage and incent our employees to volunteer in our local communities that so diligently support us.

If you are an energetic, hard-working individual with a passion to help others, we encourage you to explore career opportunities with the Scott Credit Union team.

Community Involvement

Scott Credit Union has made giving back to its communities a major priority. In 2017, we donated over $424,000 and employees volunteered more than 2,400 hours to a variety of local civic efforts throughout the region. We realize that without our members and the communities in which we serve, we would not exist as a financial alternative.

We have increased community involvement in the past few years while also increasing efforts to educate consumers of the value of doing their financial business with a not-for-profit credit union. We really want people in the area to know more about the value of doing business with a credit union.

Be A V.I.P. (Volunteer Incentive Program)

Scott Credit Union created a Community Volunteer Incentive (VIP) Program to show how important community involvement is to us and to encourage our staff to volunteer their time supporting local efforts. We offer our staff a chance to win prizes for volunteering. In 2017, our staff logged more than 2,400 hours in community service at a variety of charitable or civic events or efforts. We’re extremely excited and proud of our staff for all that they do to give back to the community.

Meet the Team

2017 Manager of the Year

Tracie Buettner, Facilities and Card Systems Administration Manager

“I am humbled to be named the 2017 Manager of the Year and am grateful for the recognition. This award would not have been possible without the teamwork of my fellow employees and the leadership I have experienced during my time at Scott Credit Union. Scott Credit Union truly is one of the Top Workplaces.”

2017 VIP of the Year

Renee VanDyke, Executive Administrative Assistant

“I am honored to be named the 2017 VIP of the Year. This program has given me so much in so many ways from getting to know many of my fellow employees to helping make things better in our communities to the simple fun of being in a local parade. Because Senior Management supports the program and encourages us, I’m making a difference in our area. Scott Credit Union truly promotes and exemplifies our motto of “people helping people”.”

2017 Employee of the Year

Kyle Lickenbrock, Marketing Analyst

“I am extremely honored to be recognized as the 2017 Employee of the Year. I never expected to win an award like this. But, as proud as I am for winning, I am even more proud of the work we do within the Marketing department. Working at Scott Credit Union has taught me how teamwork and a positive work environment influence the success of each individual employee and the organization as a whole. I am proud to be part of Scott Credit Union’s continued success.”
